Introduction
Over the course of the past few years there has been an increasing demand for highly skilled professionals with CASS expertise within financial services. I would like to establish if this has had a clear impact on salaries, from the information I have garnered through the vast amount of conversations I have held during this time period, it seems like salaries are experiencing somewhat of an upward trend. I conducted this survey with the aiming of finding out if that was the case.

Certainly shows a large degree of confidencethat the market will demand uplifts andemployers risk losing staff if they don’t react.

A
100%of respondents felt that their CASS
skill set is in very high demand
When asked if they felt there is enoughinvestment into graduates / entry level candidatesto develop a future generation of CASS talent:
33%of respondents had seen a certain
amount of investment, but mentioned a little more would be beneficial
67%of respondents feel that there needs to
be further investment; in their experience companies are not planning
enough in this area
Conclusion
My conclusion from the survey is that salaries within the CASS space areexperiencing an upward trend, and, in addition there is an expectation from 100%respondents that their skill set is in very high demand, that will no doubt bringfurther demand for increased salaries next year.
Interestingly people who have a CASS specialist skill set do not feel there is enoughinvestment or training for a future generation of skilled people in this area.
