!!The!North!American!Reggio!Emilia!Alliance!(NAREA)!invites!you!to!participate!in!the!second!of!a!two!part!series,!Brick&by&Brick:&Reggio.inspired&Practice&in&New&England.!!!!This!experience!is!designed!to!build!on!the!conversations!we!enjoyed!in!our!October!gathering!while!also!welcoming!those!who!were!unable!to!join!us!for!our!first!session.!Together!we!will!continue!to!pursue!the!question!“What!does!it!mean!to!be!ReggioZinspired?”!and!more!specifically!ask,!“How!does!the!daily!life!of!the!children,!teachers,!and!families!in!our!programs!and!schools!reflect!our!understanding!of!and!commitment!to!the!principles!of!the!Reggio!approach?”!!!Lella!Gandini!will!open!the!day!by!revisiting!the!founding!principles!of!the!educational!project!guiding!the!Early!Childhood!services!of!Reggio!Emilia!(Indications,!p.4)!through!stories!that!come!from!the!experiences!of!the!schools.!!With!this!framework!in!mind,!we!will!also!view!selected!video!segments!to!consider!how!these!criteria!are!integrated!into!the!daily!life!of!the!early!childhood!programs!in!Reggio!Emilia!as!well!as!in!other!contexts.!!In!addition,!there!will!be!opportunities!for!small!group!discussions,!so!please!bring!reflections,!questions!or!visual!examples!about!how!your!study!of!the!Reggio!approach!has!contributed!to!your!view!of!your!work!with!children,!families!and!colleagues.!!!&
