The natural flora and fauna of anyecological system have devisedsurvival strategies over thousands ofyears to cope with their specificclimate and geological terrain.Biomimicry is an approach to designwhich asks the question “Whatwould Nature do?” in order to createarchitectural solutions that areresponsive and responsible to theecology of the region.

How does a cactus actually dealwith an arid climate, and how canwe apply that to our buildingdesign? Why is a sand dune shapedthe way that it is, and how does thatinform our architecture? Each of ourbuildings is an organic reply to thesetypes of questions in search ofenvironmentally sustainable shelterand habitat for mankind.
