Purpose FDOT to establish a Statewide Bicycle and
Pedestrian Count Program to Assess bicycle and pedestrian use in Florida in
terms of number of people walking and bicycling at a given location on our road network system
Better understand the extent and severity of bicycle and pedestrian crashes
Comply with Map 21’s performance based planningMeasuring Performance of non-motorized
