AZURDOME TENTS

Geodesic Dome - an unusual, futuristic, bright and friendly & all-purpose at the same time temporary construction that distinguish any event held at it. Geodesic Dome, as a spherical or partial-spherical shell structure, due to its simple geometry and technology of modern architectural engineering, can easily fit into any space and impresses of every person entering into it. Geodesic Dome form allows it to be the most ergonomic type of temporary structures, after all because of circularity shapes it creates a spacious full of air space without any visible restrictions, sharp corners and heavy ceiling, allowing the most efficient use of every square meter, without imposing any strict requirements for its layout, design and furnishing. The flexible exterior of the dome can be easily adapted to any required you Interior.

EARLY DOMESThe first geodesic dome was designed and built in 1922 by German engineer Walter Bauersfeld for optical Carl Zeiss Corporation and was used as the Planetarium. Later, in 1925, Walter Bauersfeld patented it.

FULLER’S WORLD However, only thirty years later, thanks to the American architect, designer, engineer and inventor Buckminster Fuller, who, in fact, introduced and patented in the U.S. definition of a "geodesic dome" domes became widely used in architecture.Since then Buckminster Fuller is considered as the "father" of geodesic domes, that gained him worldwide fame. And its construction (that covered a huge area without any internal supports), developed and installed in the U.S. in 1954, became the lightest, strongest and most cost-effective structure ever built. The Fuller's domes became a breakthrough in residential architecture, not only because of its cost-effectiveness, but also because of its lightness - the greater is dome diameter, the proportionally easier it becomes.Today, more than 300,000 geodesic domes have adorned the world.

HISTORY

DESIGN-BUILD

In order to ensure the maximum of economic and ergonomic efficiency, Astrodome is guided by the principle of "Design-Build", which entails establishment of the most functional and effective construction project delivery system, in which the designer, architect, constructor, manufacturing , logistics and assembling are in the possession of one company and not employed separately by the Customer, which allows the customer to sign a contract with only one company, which serves as the sole and primary contact and is fully responsible for the design, logistics, coordination and implementation of the project.

Our team disposes of all necessary resources management to develop a unique design, manufacture, deliver, install, support and engineering, as well as the subsequent dismantling of geodesic domes of any size and functionality.

DESIGN-BUILD AZURDOME as a team, focused on the "Design-Build" principle, is responsible for the costs, timing and quality of project implementation under a single contract, and our clients can easy concentrate on the project.
