Automatisierte Medikamenten- Management-Systeme von Omnicell
MedikaMenten-ManageMent in ihreM krankenhaus optiMieren

Introducing China’s First Inpatient Automated Medication Management System
An automated medication and supply management system from Omnicell provides a better way to manage medications throughout the hospital. The proven Omnicell® system helps ensure items are accessible in the nursing units when patients need them. The easy-to-use automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) automatically track each item removed, saving staff time and improving inventory management and control.
Omnicell communicates with multiple hospital systems. Medication ordering, dispensing, inventory management, and billing are completely automated, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. All transactions completed at the automated dispensing cabinet in the nursing wards are transmitted back to the OmniCenter server and recorded for future reporting.
Medication Workflow With Omnicell System
Electronic medication orders are automatically transmitted from pharmacy to the Omnicell cabinet on the nursing ward via the OmniCenter® server. Nurses are able to access the patient’s medication profile and remove only items that have been prescribed by a doctor and approved by a pharmacist. The automated system promotes patient safety and nurse efficiency.
The current Ministry of Health five-year plan for reforming medical care in China includes a directive for improving the medicine supply system. Improving medication management leads to:
• Increased efficiency
• Better nurse-patient relationships
• Improved patient safety and quality of care
But how do you get started in achieving these goals?
Why Choose Omnicell for Automated Medication Management?
