AT THE BECCLES QUAY

Angling opportunities minimised by Town Council in 2011 and poor

disabled facilities!

Page 2: AT THE BECCLES QUAY

There used to be plenty of places

• But in 2011 the Town Council reduced it from 22 on this Suffolk Bank to just TEN giving over space

for paid moorings.

• It deprives opportunity.

Some great Roach migrate

Page 4: AT THE BECCLES QUAY

Now it is congested with very few places only 8 paces apart available

and only open for fishing 1 November to 24 March

FOR THE DISABLED

It certainly leaves a lot to

be desired,with poor

accessin places

Page 6: AT THE BECCLES QUAY

Even the Kingfisher has been denied his respite!

• The opposite Suffolk Bank has less space than at one time.

• We think there should be dedicated disabled angling spaces!

• AND DISGRACEFULLY THERE IS NO DISABLED PARKING!!

Page 7: AT THE BECCLES QUAY

The top end is narrow but quite fishable

. . . and being near to Free Parking could also cater for the Disabled Angler and have dedicated spaces for them!
