If you purchased your AS100* complete it will come assembled as shown
If you purchased the AS100 without a valve stem1. Slide small o-ring down valve stem to bottom of threads2. Insert the valve stem through the AS1003. Slide the large o-ring over the end of the AS100
Rim must be clean and free of any type of debris or rust where o-ring seats (wire brushing is recommended)Insuring that the larger o-ring* stays seated in position - slide the assembly through the valve stem hole of the rim Adapter should appear flush with rim surface not caulked*Do not lubricate o-rings in any way – assembly must be installed dry

Hold the valve stem squarely in the rim with constant hand pressure at the bottom of the valve stem
Slide valve stem washer* and nut down the valve stem
Tighten valve stem nut hand tight to hold valve stem assembly into place
*Dome side of washer must be facing nut

turning with a pair of locking pliers – washer must collapse completely and appear to incase the nutDo not allow valve stem to turn during assembly or o-ring damage may occurFinal valve stem recommended nut torque is 20ft. Lbs.**Do not lubricate threads this is a dry torqueThis step must be repeated between tire changes – the AS100 does not need replaced each tire change
