The Appalachian Coalfields’ Ministry seeks to meet the physical and

spiritual needs of the people in the Appalachian Area. One of the

greatest ministry needs in the area occurs around Christmas time. Our

goal is to collect 100 Christmas Backpacks and 25 Christmas Food

Baskets. These items will be taken to the needy families of Living River Chapel of Sutton, West Virginia. Pastor Aaron Sligar visited our

congregation a few weeks ago and talked about the great impact this

ministry made in their community. If you have questions, please contact

Karen Lawrence at 390-1745. Make checks payable to FBC, PLEASE NOTE Appalachian

Christmas Outreach in the memo.
