Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States from 1829-1837. He was also a
eponym of the Jacksonian Demcoracy.
Jackson managed to get debt down to $33,733.05. This was the lowest debt has been since 1791.

was so crowded that people were
breaking plates and decorative
pieces, many people also had to
stand on chairs. White House
attendants had to put punch in
buckets on the lawn to lour people
outside.
The most controversial situation of Andrew Jackson’s presidency was the Indian Removal. This involved the ethnic cleansing; this was to remove native tribes such as the Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw and Seminole. Jackson saw Indians as “children who need guidance” and thought the removal would be beneficial to them.
