Session #2 Vicarious Trauma• Caring for the caregivers• Signs, causes and integration• Post traumatic growth and resiliency• Self-care for sustainability Session #3 Trauma-Informed in Action• Applying the knowledge: practical tools, poses and practices• Processing, regulating and integration • Merging trauma-informed tools with your gifts as a teacher• Client specific application

As yoga teachers, being Trauma-Informed is vitally important. It is likely that you will encounter students and clients healing from Trauma. Various stages of trauma response may be present including PTSD, anxiety and depression. In this interactive workshop series, we will engage in open conversation while expanding our knowledge of trauma and it's impact. We will explore how to work with the complexities of trauma, while maintaining our own trauma informed healthy boundaries,  so we can best support the process of healing.
