8The Advanced Project Management Programme (APM) equips managers with the principles and the know-how to complete projects on time, within budget and while meeting expectations. The six modules offer a practical, step-by-step approach to managing a project over its entire lifecycle — from inception to close out.
The APM is designed for current and prospective middle managers as well as investors and developers in all industries.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS
Applicants must have a Senior Certificate and at least three years’ managerial experience. Admission is granted on the understanding that students are able to attend weekly syndicate group meetings at the SBL in Midrand.
ON COMPLETION
On successful completion of the programme, students will receive the Advanced Project Management Programme (APM ) Certificate from the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL), an internationally respected educational institution.
Advanced Project Management
The application and registration process for the APM takes place from September 2017 until January 2018. Attendance at the APM study school is compulsory and the dates of these events will be provided. Please note the Application Fee for 2018 is R160 and is in addition to the tuition fees.
After completing this one year programme, project managers in the public and private sector with a minimum of three years’ managerial experience, should be able to effectively execute projects in the organisation.

1. In each of the modules, two syndicate group assignments must be completed. These assignments count towards a year mark.
2. Summative assessment (examinations). An open-book exam will be written.
