Abiotic and BioticFactors
Abiotic Factorscold temperature, snow, frozen/unfrozen water, little sunlight, acid soil, rocks
Biotic Factorsbird: eagle, crow, hawk, vulture, woodpecker, wren, owlbear: giant panda, brown bear, black bearinvertebrate: beetle, fly, ladybug, wormsrodents: chipmunk, mouseamphibian: frog, newt
Where Coniferous Forests are Found
Coniferous forests are in the northern part of North America, Europe and Asia. The some parts of the left border of North America has coniferous forests too.

the orange parts are the coniferous forests
Producersevergreen trees: they have tough needles to help it save the tree from being dry.ferns: they reproduce oftenlylarch trees: the larch tree has thick bark which can withstand certain weathers and doesn't get easily burnedpoison oak: they are vines which climb up redwoods
Consumers/Adaptationsmigrate: when an animal goes to a warmer place for example birds migrate when it’s winter
hibernate: when an animal goes to sleep over the winter like bears
thick fur: some animals have thick fur which keeps them warm through winter like a wolf or a bobcat
camouflage: blend with the surrounding for example the bobcat can turn white in winter and brown in summer

Conservation Issue: Air Pollution Air pollution is a problem in the coniferous forest and it starts out with
people making pollution like in factories, motors, and then the pollution destroys the ozone layer which creates the sun to heat the earth and create global warming. The evergreen trees will die because they weren't adopted to the heat. Animals with thick fur will die without having time to adapt to the warm environment and the food web will fall apart.
