Short chain cyanoacrylates (butyl) are known to be brittle polymers. INDERMIL® flexifuze™* topical tissue adhesive has been designed to be a flexible adhesive when cured and to maintain that flexibility over time.
All cured adhesives were flexed 50 times on consecutive days until they cracked. INDERMIL®
flexifuze™* topical tissue adhesive was still flexible after 250 cycles over 5 days.1
WHAT CAN FLEXIFUZE™* DO FOR YOU
■ Cannula applicator Option to use the cannula applicator providing pin point accuracy.
■ Flow control applicator Patent protected technology, which provides a broad stroke for optimal wound coverage.
■ Linear coverage (cm)1
INDERMIL® flexifuze™* has proven to show an average linear coverage of adhesive longer than competitive products such as Dermabond Advanced®, Derma+Flex®, Liquiband Flex®, Liquiband Optima®.
■ Fast and easy application Sets in 30–60 seconds6.
■ Microbial barrier3 Acts as a microbial barrier across the wound and minimise the potential for infection. In vitro studies have shown that INDERMIL® flexifuze™* topical tissue adhesive will stay in place for 5–8 days acting as an effective physical barrier to microbial penetration as long as the adhesive film remains intact.3
■ Clog free tip for long working life1
INDERMIL® flexifuze™* topical tissue adhesive offers a long working life (up to 40 mins depending on ambient humidity) allowing for multiple uses on a single patient.1
