Hand Held Power Tools While most of you may be lucky enough to work with a medium to large sized joinery company, some will be with small a company (1-5 employees) who have a greater reliance on Bespoke Joinery work and the use of hand tools and hand held power tools. Again as in the previous slide H&S and ACoP are uppermost in the workshop rules and expectations.

Power Tool Uses
Most of the power tools and their uses will be familiar to you as second year students. • Would you use a detail sander to remove a large amount of stock
from your material?
• would you use a reciprocating saw to cut down the cheeks of a tenon?
• so almost all the machinery and power tools at your disposal have an obvious use the most versatile one is arguably the hand held router why?
• What are the benefits of nail guns?
