Speed
In the laboratory, 5GIC researchers have achieved 5G speeds of one terabit per second in tests (over 65,000 times faster than average 4G download speeds).

Latency, Reliability, Availability
Latency refers to the time delay between data being generated – e.g., at a sensor – and the same data being correctly received. Reliability refers to the capability of guaranteeing successful message transmissions within a defined latency period (or delay) e.g. only one message in one billion data transfers may be lost or delayed. System availability has to ensure that critical applications are not in outage when needed, e.g. medical and advanced transit systems.

Cars – the end of the love affair?
“Digital natives don't care about owning things. Possession is a burden, and a car is a big investment.” Less than 70% of US 19-year-olds now have a driving license, down from 87% in 1995
