Century market town, surrounded by a beautiful rural landscape
of wooded hills and green fields.
The River Thames flows through the town making Henley a world renowned
centre for rowing and attracting the world’s top rowers. It hosts the annual
Henley Royal Regatta. Boats are available for hire ranging from small rowing
boats to a paddle steamer! There is also an award winning River and Rowing
Museum, a five arched bridge built in 1786, a historic church, Town Hall,
market square, The Old Bell pub dated from 1325, many local shops, and its
own theatre and cinema.
