Thursday, October 5th
Sparkling Paris – Day 1
Breakfast at La Réserve Paris
On Thursday, October 5th, our Parisian Travelers
will begin with a private breakfast at the iconic La
Réserve Paris, former home of the Duke de
Morny, which embodies the refined elegance of
the Second Empire. A riveting talk about Paris at
the turn of the 19th century will follow, setting
the stage for the rest of the trip.
Lunch on the terrace of Maison Hermès
An exquisite private lunch will be hosted
by Executive Vice President at Hermès,
Guillaume de Seynes.
Guests will have a chance to discover the
coveted Maison Hermès terrace, a quiet
oasis overlooking the rue du Faubourg
Saint-Honoré.
Afternoon at the Château and Parc de Bagatelle
Our Parisian group will the join the
Norman Travelers at the Orangerie de
Bagatelle, where all will enjoy a private
tour of the château and its
surrounding gardens. The day will
conclude with an unforgettable FHS
Grant Ceremony and private cocktail
at Bagatelle.
Friday, October 6th
Sparkling Paris – Day 2
Tour of La Monnaie de ParisGuests will experience an exceptional behind-the-scenes tour of the Hotel de la Monnaie and
its ateliers by its President, Christophe Beau.
La Monnaie de Paris, the French mint, is the oldest continually operating enterprise in the world. FHS raised funds to help restore a mural painting discovered during the renovation of
the premises, which will have just recently reopened following the completion of the work.
Lunch at Guy SavoyGuests will enjoy an extraordinary lunch at the 3-star restaurant Guy Savoy, ranked the best in the
world by La Liste in 2017. The restaurant’s new home on the top floor of the Hôtel de la Monnaie
offers sweeping views of the Seine and the many Parisian landmarks that grace its banks.
Visit of Mellerio dits Mellers
Following lunch, Mellerio, the oldest
family-owned and -operated jewelry
company in the world, will open its
doors to our group for a private visit.
Guests will have an exclusive
opportunity to view Empress
Eugenie’s Second Empire pieces from
their vault and will also learn about
Mellerio’s contemporary designs.
Saturday,October 7th The Imperial Ball at the Palais de Compiègne
French Heritage Society's 35th Anniversary Imperial Ball will evoke the grandeur and romance of Compiègne during the Second Empire. As guests explore
the palace and its sumptuously decorated apartments, watch fireworks burst overhead, dine, dance, and celebrate, the storied past of Compiègne will come to
life once more. A sumptuous gala dinner will be served in the magnificent Galerie de Bal prepared by 2-star Michelin chef Jérôme Banctel from Le Gabriel at
La Réserve Paris.
Participants of our Parisian Travelers program will receive an Emperor ticket, our highest level. Our Emperor-level guests will be welcomed for an intimate
VIP tour of the Palais de Compiègne before the cocktail reception. Roundtrip transportation in luxury coaches is provided to/from Compiègne, allowing guests
to relax while sipping on Arlaux Champagne paired with delicious French snacks.
