Raiders Girls Basketball
Camp
Camp director Barrie Foley was a graduate of HHS, was the JV
basketball coach and is currently the Head Varsity Coach at HHS.
She played 4 years at William Paterson University and was an
undergraduate assistant for 1 year.
All of the camp staff has coached basketball at the middle or high
school level, and we have an athletic trainer on site in case of

The focus of our camp is to learn the fundamentals of
basketball in a fun learning environment. The skills
focused on are dribbling, passing, shooting form,
screening, defensive positioning and rebounding. Players
will also compete in 5 on 5 games and skill
competitions. Players are asked to dress in athletic
clothing, wear basketball or running sneakers, and bring
a bottle of water each day.

This summer, I will be offering 4 different weeks of camp. On a weekly basis each camper will:
Receive instruction from the Hillsborough High School Coaching Staff, as well as both current and former Varsity Basketball Players
Develop solid practice habits through involvement in daily “station work”
Enjoy daily live game play
Participate in various competitions & daily contests such as “Beat the Buzzer” & “Let’s Make a Deal”
Receive a free T-Shirt
Have FUN!
For the past 12 summers, I have been running basketball camps and have seen the growth and development of campers who have
attended, lead to the success of our high school program. I feel that each camper was able to improve his game through station work,
competitive drills, and live game play.
We promise your child will be getting top-notch instruction that will benefit his or her development.

The Camp will be an instructional camp for beginners to learn the game and skills of field hockey. It will also provide various
opportunities for experienced players to improve upon their existing field hockey skills. The camp will focus on skill development,
strength/conditioning, and game play.
What to Bring..
Shoes: sneakers or turf shoes, Water or cold drink, Shin Guards, Mouth Guard, Hockey Stick (please email camp director if you need to borrow one for the week.), Small Snack.

Summer Camp 2015
Youth Camp June 29 – July 1 (Rain Date: July 2)
8:30am – 11:30am Ages 6-15 . Fee: $100 . HHS Softball Field
Campers will be grouped by ages and ability and assigned a counselor for the week. The camp will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. Pitching and catching will be addressed for interested campers.

Campers will receive detailed instruction of every skill of the game based on teaching techniques and learning strategies which have proven successful in developing competitive volleyball players. They will learn key ideas behind passing, setting, serving, digging, and blocking, which will enable them to raise their level of play in each skill. There will be an ideal mix of technical instruction and playing time. Campers will be grouped based on ability.
Hillsborough Raider Volleyball Camps 2015
June 22 – 25 Morning Session: 8:30am – 11:00am: Boys Grades 5-12 (in Sept 2015)
Afternoon Session: 11:30am – 2:00pm: Girls Grades 7-12 (in Sept 2015)
Facility: Hillsborough High School The camp will be held at the Hillsborough High School gymnasium on three
regulation size volleyball courts. All necessary training equipment will be provided.

Learn the sport, brush up on your fundamentals, and learn new skills at this summer camp!

Boys and girls will be trained separately. Campers will be divided in to groups by
age and ability on the first day of camp to allow them to work with children similar to them. All groups will receive quality instruction and coaching from the
camp staff.
