Road to Recovery - Providing service to patients across the county for more than 30 years - Trained volunteer drivers donate their time and their vehicle to help cancer patients
get to/from cancer related treatment appointments - Based on volunteer availability, M-F during the work day - 4 business day advance notice is required, patient must be ambulatory Recruitment Needs - 12 Priority Communities - locations with Community Engagement staff - Looking for access to Retirees - Coordinators a big need and additional drivers in 12 priority markets Key Points: - 95% of drivers have been personally impacted by cancer and are either a survivor or a
caregiver or both. - National Partnerships - Chevrolet Purple Roads Campaign - Free service for patients - Compliments other community resources

Hotel Partners Program & Hope Lodge - Hope Lodges provide a home away from home for patients and caregivers - Assist cancer patients whose best treatment options are far from home - Hotel partners provide rooms Sunday-Thursday nights on a space available basis - 12 Priority Communities - locations with Community Engagement staff

• Help hang program volunteer recruitment flyers in local communities • Share program volunteer & patient testimonials with local media contacts • Share program messages & patient program volunteer needs on social media outlets • Create a recognition opportunity at local event for program volunteers & invite them to participate in event • Help identify Patient Support Volunteer Recruitment Lead in top markets • Ask employers if they have a retiree base that they can share patient program volunteer opportunities with • What connections do you or your volunteers have with Salons, Hotels, or breast cancer survivors? • Use Mission of the Month messages as they come out
