Digital Citizenship This is a great unit to introduce Digital Citizenship
with your students. It includes a poster and double-sided bookmarks to use when discussing how to be a good Digital Citizen. There is information
about following an AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) as well as how to be safe while using the internet. Finally, it also includes isolated pieces from the poster in case you wanted to use these as way
to “build” the poster or for a review.
This is a great unit to introduce STEM or STEAM concepts into your library. It includes bright,
colorful posters for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Each poster lists the
skills that can be used, and has a matching Challenge poster where activities can be
assigned. There are also 2 variations of a combination poster and bookmarks that can
be given to students.
STEM or STEAM Poster Set
Have fun teaching the difference between Fiction and Non-Fiction in the brightly colored activity set. Included are two definition posters, 2 sets of bookmarks, and 5 sets of practice
matching cards with 8 cards in each set.
Fiction & Non-Fiction Activity Set

ideas and resources!
This is a great extension to the Fiction and Non-Fiction Activity Set. This unit takes the learning one step further and
reviews the different story elements found in both types of stories.
Included are both color and black and white versions of the posters, retelling hands, and bookmarks for the kids to
practice at home.
This is a great way to assess whether students understand the 5 ways to search
using the catalog. The question cards rotate between author, title, subject,
keyword, and series. These cards can easily be hole-punched and put on rings to allow you to quickly asses each student as
they come up to check out books.
Destiny Search
This is a fabulous unit that includes 36 separate lesson plans to use with your students. Each lesson includes: a week
number, the library skill/concept taught, the book title and author, a detailed step-by-step
lesson plan, additional activities, and technology extension activities. Plans for Kinder & 1st grade are ready, and 2nd-5th
grade coming soon!

I am currently a Teacher- Librarian for Kindergarten to Sixth Grade. This Puppet Pals
Interactive Story Telling Activity has been one of the most enjoyable, engaging and
successful library projects I’ve been involved in. The kids have been inspired by books in our
Picture Book Collection and then brought their own stories to life
in our library/media center. So much fun!

Read Aloud Cards via QR Code (in Safeshare). I often use these cards with my younger
grades. The students grab an ipad & card after borrowing and listen along to stories read aloud. They are also handy if you have high interest in a book and only
one copy. The story can be enjoyed by many students at the
same time .
