The Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea) was established in 2001 to
share Korean literature with the global population. LTI Korea is the leading institution
which plays an important role in globalizing Korean literature, a quintessential reflection
of Korean culture.
LTI Korea promotes the international publication of Korean literature and books
through high quality translation. LTI Korea offers training courses for future translators
to guarantee the professional translation of Korean literature and sponsors diverse
international exchange programs in order to introduce Korean literature to the world
more effectively. In addition, LTI Korea provides on- and off-line contents on Korean
literature and books, and also carries out various projects to promote the copyright sales
of Korean books abroad.
LTI Korea offers programs aimed at “the globalization of Korean literature,” and these are
open to all professional translators, foreign publishers, and Korean writers who appreciate
Korean literature.
