G1 Mission• Mission: To advise and assist the Commander and
Staff on matters pertaining to personnel policy, personnel readiness, strength accounting, casualty management, and the awards program. Responsible for personnel plans and programs in support of 19th TSC operational and contingency plans. Functions as a coordinating staff, and is responsible for Safety and EO during training exercises and contingency operations.

G5 Mission
• Mission: The G5 is the principal staff officer for all matters concerning civil-military operations (the civilian impact on military operations and the impact of military operations on the civilian populace). The G5 has responsibility to enhance the relationship between the US Military and the Host Nation in order to facilitate mission accomplishment.

EO Mission
• Mission: To advise and assist the Commanding General and subordinate commanders in determining the EO climate by identifying issues of concern and ensuring regulatory compliance. Also serve as a liaison to Eighth USA to maintain the EOA strength throughout 19th TSC.

RM Miscellaneous• Effective 1 Oct 03, all BASOPS functions, along with
associated funding, manpower, facilities, and other resources were transferred from Eighth Army (and 19th TSC) to the Installation Management Agency Korea Region Office as part of the Army’s transformation of installation management.
• This “stove pipe” organization operating within the DA ACSIM guidelines will consolidate and conserve resources while providing standard levels of service Army-wide.
• The IMA KORO mission is to provide equitable, effective and efficient management of Army installations to support mission readiness and execution, enable the well-being of soldiers, civilians and family members, improve infrastructure, and preserve the environment.
