Preface
Future challenges for Powertrain Manufacturing: Sustainability, Flexibility and Ecomobility
Mobility is an important part of our daily life and one of the main factors for economic growth and employment.Future challenges are environmental aspects, but also objectives in terms of productivity and efficiency in the development of new technologies. A close networking be- tween research and industry offers ideal conditions for the development of sustainable products and processes. Thus, the PTW organizes the 11th Powertrain Manu-facturing Conference to inform about current trends in manufacturing strategies, innovative machine tool concepts and cutting tool solutions for automotive powertrain components.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Darmstadt.Kind regards,
