Analyzing the Learners
• There are 20 students
• 8th grade, 12 girls and 8 boys
• Diverse ethnic backgrounds:60% white (12), 20 % African American (4) ,10% Asian (2)(Japanese, Chinese), and 10% (2)(African (Pakistanis, Iraqis)
• Students with special needs: 4 students have mild ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and two students with down syndrome.
Main objective
• The students will be able to recognize the different grammatical tenses and write sentences using them by listening to songs, writing on the board, filling the blanks and playing games relating to the grammatical tenses by the end of the week with 95% accuracy
Day by Day Breakdown
• 1 day: El tiempo presente simple (present tense)
• 2 day: El presente continuo (Present continues)
• 3 day: El tiempo pasado (past tense)
• 4 day: El tiempo futuro (future tense)
• 5 day: El presente perfecto( present perfect)
