The University Student Council (USC) stands as the highest representative institution of students of the University of the Philippines-Diliman. The USC represents the students within and outside the university and has the proud and historic tradition of active involvement in the struggle to defend the rights and interests of the students and Filipino people.
Please be reminded of the following dates:
June 10 - From Office of the Student Activities (OSA) UPD: There will be a demo on June 10, 2011 at 2 pm (OSA, Vinzons Hall Annex) for the Buklu-ran online registration of organizations, fraternities and sororities. Please ask someone from your organization to attend and bring your questions.
June 14- First day of classes- Freshie Welcome Assembly @ UP Theater, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.- DZUP 1602 “May Punto Ka D’yan: Puntuhang Youth and Students”
Launching and Live Airing at AS Parking Lot, 3 to 4 p.m.o The program may allot a few minutes of air time for organizations,
fraternities and sororities to plug your events and broadcast your concerns.
o Coffee will be offered, c/o the USC.o Organizations may sponsor snacks (juice sa tetra pack, biscuits,

Consultations will be ongoing for the Handbook of Students Rights and Responsibilities that the stu-dent review committee is drafting to replace the 2010 Draft Code of Student Conduct (DCSC).
