Goldfinger Factory is an upcycling workshop that designs and creates beautiful fit-outs and furniture using reclaimed materials wherever possible.
The Factory supports learning and craftsmanship by giving studio spaces and access to facilities to local artisanst carpenters, designers and artists.
The Factory provides artisan volunteers with a platform to fulfill their potential.
What we offer

Blending a dedication to re-embracing ancient and natural ingredients with a desire to make healthy food accessible to all, Bain-Marie is passionate about making nutrient-dense and healing foods taste divine so you never feel like you are depriving yourself but rather relish in every mouthful.
Another one of our foundational principles is the celebration of organic, local and seasonal ingredients which means cultivating close relationships with British farmers to ensure we always use fresh and sustainably-sourced produce. Even our quinoa is sourced from a local farm in Essex.

Two professional artisans from Goldfinger Factory delivered a workshop at the Macbeth Centre for Hammersmith & Fulham Council staff to promote Recycle Week.Participants transformed redundant pallets into simple pieces of homeware such as photo frames, tea light holders, and wine/magazine racks all in the space of a lunch break!
We hosted thirty sustainability specialists from the John Lewis Partnership (JLP) for their Team Away Day.The aim of the workshop was to allow participants to get to know one another better while having fun and being inspired. They also got to experience the Factory and gain and understanding of the work we do. We delivered 3 upcycling workshops for their staff, making homeware products from reclaimed wood.
Seventeen members of staff from luxury fashion brand Hermes UK and their Global Head of Sustainability, Pierre-Alexandre Bapst, joined us for an evening of creative upcyling and an elegant dinner reception.Working in small groups, participants had their creativity put to the test and were challenged to make the word ‘Recycle’ from scrap wood and other reclaimed materials.

These bespoke pieces add the perfect balance of modern industrial chic and reclaimed wood to a workspace for you to hang coats, hats and scarves on.
Fetching Frames
Get down to the core of woodworking and construct rustic frames from reclaimed oak that will add character and a story to living rooms and corridors.
Coat Hooks
Armed with a carpenter’s weapons -wood off-cuts, sandpaper and paintbrushes- we will tutor you in the craft of geometric wood mosaics, also known as parquetry. Brilliant for repurposing smaller pieces of leftover wood, this technique transforms bland furniture into statement pieces!

Turn dull into dazzling! Upcycle an object of your choice (a frame, box, jar, pot, stool or table) with waste materials (paper, fabric, wallpaper, maps, magazines, comic books) and create a modern and artistic piece for your home or office.
Stylish SignsLearn the craft of printmaking and hand-print your own inspirational and motivational posters or craft your own wooden sign with reclaimed material to give your office a dose of decoration. Using old canvas paintings, reclaimed wood and scrap material you can create your own word wall art or signs.
Playful PalletsChances are everything in your workspace has been shipped on the humble wooden pallet. With over 4 billion pallets in circulation, around 200 million of them go to landfill each year. In this workshop, you will get creative with reclaimed pallets, transforming them into everything from beautiful wall art to wine racks and coffee tables!

Make your mark with marquetry! Involving the creation of intricate pictures and elaborate wooden designs, this highly specialized art has roots in ancient times and was brought to a high level of refinement by master cabinetmakers in France during the 17th century. In this workshop, you will create your own unique clock with this traditional craft.
