Therapy (before OR after the wedding day)

This is a full ceremony, which involves the chanting and blessing of Buddhist Monks.A typical ceremony normally takes place in the morning from 09:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon each day.The format of the ceremony is as follows:

1. At 09.30 am. The long drum dance procession arrives at the bridal suite to escort the newly married Couple to the wedding venue.

2. The procession arrives at wedding venue and follows by Buddhist Monks ceremony.3. The Bridal Couple sits side by side at the bridal table at wedding venue.4. Buddhist religious ceremonial rites begin with chanting and blessing by 3 monks.5. At this time holy candles are lit by the bridal couple at wedding venue.6. Sprinkling of holy water by the monks followed by a blessing and the pouring of holy

water by the guests and Resort Management and Team. The bridal couple exchange rings (if applicable)

7. The bridal couple offer alms to the monks.8. The bridal couple offer food to the monks.9. The monks take their leave after lunch. The bridal couple cut the cake and opens a

bottle of Sparkling 10. Wine. Wedding registration, (if required)11. The bridal couple has a private Royal Thai Luncheon at Hotel Restaurant.

LEGALIZATION MARRIAGE IN THAILAND: If guests require Legal Wedding registration to be made in Thailand, the local registrar will sign the formalities with Bridal Couple in the resort following the ceremony; provided that all pre-requisite papers have been arranged by the Bridal Couple in the country of origin (refer to nationality).

In order to have the marriage legally registered in Thailand; the couple needs to ensure that all documents required to be taken care refer by the Embassy. (PLEASE ADVISE NATIONALITY WHEN ENQUIRING).

Upon arriving in Thailand everything will be taken care of our Liaison Officer. At least 5 days prior to your wedding (Monday-Friday and except Thailand Public Holiday) that the Bridal Couple will meet with the Liaison Officer in the morning at the hotel lobby in Bangkok then we will escort you to your Embassy in Bangkok in order to complete the necessary paperwork (please note this must be done in person). The processing will take approximately half day; you are then free to go to Koh Samui in the evening or the following day. (Please check Embassy holidays in advance to avoid any mis-appointment).

Following the ceremony the local Provincial Officer will issue a “Thai Marriage Ceritificate”. It is advisable that you check in advance in your own country whether this certificate is legally accepted in your home country.

Above processing DOES NOT include Hotel in Bangkok and Air Fare.

Legalization processing in Thailand is at Baht 35,000 – 38,000.- (depends of Nationality)
