Open up the Windows 8 Control panel 1. Select General 2. Advanced Startup 3. Restart now On Reboot a pop up menu will appear Select “Troubleshoot” On next menu select ‘Advanced Options’ Startup settings Restart ‘Disable Driver signature Enforcement’

Navigate to the Windows control panel via Explorer (Control Panel > All Control Panel Items) Open ‘Device Manager’

You will see under ‘Other devices’ your 3D printer (3DPrinter) Right click on ‘3DPrinter’ and select ‘Update driver software’

Select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ Navigate to C:\Program Files\UP Or C:\Program Files(x86)\UP Click on the ‘OK’ button Make sure to tick the checkbox ‘Include subfolders’ Then click on ‘Next’

A pop up Window will appear, we want to ‘Install this driver anyway’ Once installed you can click ‘Close’ Under Device Manager you will find a menu item called ‘Free Motion Card’ under which you will find your 3D printer (‘3D Printer@FreeMotion) Congratulations, you have now successfully installed the printer drivers for you Windows 8 computer.
