A L A S K AMorning – Early birds join the naturalist in kayaking or skiffing to shore to watch for birds. After a delicious breakfast we gather on deck watching for flocks of birds and marine animals as we cruise surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Alaska.
Afternoon – After lunch we explore the forest or beach trails of the Tongass National forest learning about intertidal life, native plants or local wildlife be-fore motoring to our eve-ning anchorage in some remote cove.
Evening – There is time before dinner for kayaking, or exploring on shore. After a sumptuous meal, the natu-ralist and skipper review the day and we may kayak or photograph a sunset. Every night we stop in a new and secluded anchorage.
A Day on the Snow G oose
THE SNOW
GOOSE DIFFERENCE
The Snow Goose is obviously different from the enormous Cruise Ships that ply these waters every summer, but we’re differ-ent from the smaller ships as well. For us, it’s not only about simply seeing the landscape; it’s about exploring the details hidden within and finding the unexpected. Not only do you see the beautiful landscape, but you feel the rocks beneath your feet.
It’s about gaining a deeper understanding for the magnificent world we live in – flip-ping over stones and finding starfish, snails, crabs, anemones, and most importantly – the unexpected. It’s about getting back to the ba-sics, and finding your bearings again – a reset button for the soul.
We keep it simple. Through in-depth explo-ration of our magnificent coasts with 11 other like-minded travelers, the Snow Goose offers a unique and personal experience unlike any other.
