Double page spread

Main image. The main image on this double page is of lady gaga who is an up coming pop star. The is picture is done in black and white which links in with the text. Is shoot in a high quality camera or edited really good. The image is a mid shot of the her to show her expression . The image looks the effects of an old film star, maybe because she is in public eye all the time and she’s now seen as the one to watch but the magazine is seen her as the one that is still there and watched like old film actress.

Naming. Her name is being written at the top of the page to let people who may not know her , to know her full stage name.

Language /fontThe font style used in the page is easy and simple to read, because is long and is it was written in a italic or something else it would be hard to read. The text is also written in small text because it gives it a more classy feel to it like the expression on her face. The ‘L’ is used largely on page with the red colour to draw the reader in about who the whole story is about. it also breaks down the whole black and white colour theme.

Main image: the image of Florence Welch is a full length shot showing her surrounding and what she is doing. She is dressed in style and in the same colour as the text and the background. Her red hair fits in well with the red and white flag of the USA. Her slim black dress complements the colour of the text and her being white and the flag goes well with the background .

Text and language. The text is done in a very structured way which is a positive thing to the readers. The background is has the word ‘USA’ which

links in with the flag she is seating on. The quote ‘got the love’ is an extract from one of her songs ‘you got the love’ but with the article about her and America it makes more sense to have that as a sub heading and also it would be more interested to the readers since is a quote they know already.

Tone/ colour. The colours used in the double page spread are in harmony with the image and the style of the magazine. Its simple but yet still is smart and not too busy.

Images. This page contains lots of different not done like a photo shoot or high quality is more done in from a gig or a concert. It shows mainly the lead singer of my chemical romance which most readers will know, then in the corners and sides it shows the rest of the band.

Layout. The layout of the page is more kind of busy and with a lot of different information from everywhere. It has the Q and A then it has the article. The page contains a theme colour of red, white and black. Which suits the style of the band.

The word ‘world exclusive’ will get the attention of the reader because is new and it only from that magazine. The word ‘we’

makes the readers feel included with the article and makes them feel part of the band. The text is written in a more grunge kind of style to fit in with the band’s approach.
