Double-click SurCodeDDP_Adobe_Setup.exe to launch the SurCode for Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Encoder

installer.

Click Next to proceed with

the Setup Wizard.

Tick the I accept the terms

of the License Agreement

option, and click Next to

proceed.

On the next screen you

must select the correct

directory for your version of

Premiere Pro or Adobe

Media Encoder. Click Next

to proceed.

Click Browse… to specify

the version of Adobe

Premiere Pro or Adobe

Media Encoder you are

currently running.

Select the version of Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe

Media Encoder you are currently running, and click

OK to map the directory.

For example:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC

2018

-or-

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC

2018

Note: you need to run this installer separately for

Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.

After mapping the

installation directory, click

Install to proceed.

After clicking Install, a side installer will load, prompting you to install the CodeMeter Runtime Kit. This

is the driver set that will allow you to generate and activate your license. If a later version of CodeMeter

is already installed on your machine, a dialog will appear stating “A later version of CodeMeter Rintime

Kit is already installed”. In this case, click OK to close the dialog. If CodeMeter Runtime Kit is not

installed on your machine, please step through the Wizard to install CodeMeter. Click Finish to close the

CodeMeter Runtime Kit Setup Wizard.

SurCode for Dolby Digital

Plus 5.1 Encoder has now

been installed on your

computer. Click Finish to

close the installation wizard.

Now that SurCode for Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Encoder has been installed on your machine, you are ready

to proceed with the license activation.

Launch Adobe Premiere

Pro, and create a new

sequence. Select an asset in

your timeline, and go: File >

Export > Media…

Under Export Settings

specify, MPEG2 as the

Format.

Under the Audio tab,

specify Dolby Digital as the

Audio Format.

Click Codec Settings to

launch the SurCode user

interface.

Click Generate License

Request in the SurCode user

interface to generate your

license request file.

Make sure to name and

save your license request

file to a directory that is

easy to remember and

locate. Click Save to

proceed.

A success dialog will appear

once your license request

file has been save. Click OK

to close out the dialog.

Now that you have installed the plug-in and generated a license request file, you are ready to activate

your license.

If you just purchased a license, and this is your first time activating, please use the following URL

to register your product: http://minnetonkaaudio.com/register. After registering, you will

receive detailed instructions on how to upload your license request file for through our

automatic license generation portal. Make sure to have your License Request File, Product

Serial Number, and Order Number on-hand, as these will be required for automatic activation.

Automatic activation is only supported once. For reactivations, please see the bullet point

below.

Product Serial Number and brief description to: techsupport@minnetonkaaudio.com. A

member of our support staff will be able to work with you to reactivate the license.
