Wutaishan Marriott Hotel Public Areas Renovation

Mt. Wutai is located in northeast of Shanxi province, China, and is of the Four Sacred Mountains of Chinese Buddhism.

As an existing hotel located in Mt. Wutai, the design is influenced by the existing architecture and materials which reflect the landscape and highlights the surrounding views. The history of the site and its importance as a Buddhist pilgrimage destination is reflected in the artwork and patterns throughout the hotel. Key public spaces in the hotel are redesigned to create warm, light filled spaces with natural textures and materials inspired by the local settings.

Service Apartment Features FUZHOU BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Local in Fuzhou of Fujian Province in Southern China, Fuzhou Boutique Hotel with interior concept coming from its local tea culture, consisting 8 Floors of public and room spaces include opening atrium, lobby, 3 meal, Chinese Dining, Pool and SPA. And service apartments for rent, typical guestrooms, large suites and one Presidential Suite.

Individual tasks: Completion of Material FFE Book, Hardware and Equipment Book, contact suppliers to collect all samples; design of typical guest room, provide several options for service apartments; modeling of apartment options using Sketch Up, CAD drawings of room plans and elevations; renderings of plans, elevations; work with 3D renderer to complete all perspectives.

Typical King and DD Rooms Features Materials Selection

STAR LIGHT 68 SHOPPING MALLStar Light 68 as one of the first high-end luxurious shopping mall in Chongqing, one of the major municipality city in China, consist of a large area of shopping complex and a mix of luxury brands. With the total area of 35000 Square Meters, the building composed of 4 floors of fashion and accessories shops, entertainment and leisure spaces.

Individual tasks: Detailed design of reception area of ground floor, with design coordinating overall concept and plan, and new touch screen technology adding to the counter. Planning and design of public restrooms and staff offices on each floor. Presentation methods involves hand sketches, CAD drawings and 3D perspectives.

GT LANDLANDMARKANALYSISG.T. Land Plaza stands in the heart of Guangzhou city, CBD District, located next to Guangzhou Museum, TV Tower and 7 other landmark buildings. The Landmark covers the largest business projects in the fastdeveloping city. The Plaza is being built with the theme of the four seasons, each landmark represent spring, summer, autumn and winter, respectfully.

Since this project was under the Concept Development and Master Planning stage, researches were conducted to analysis the Landmark’s circulation, relation to nearby parks, and its user group. Withdiagrams showing the results of the research.

1. POINTS OF INTEREST ANALYSIS

Sketches of Plan & Elevation of the Connecting Bridge

• Hand sketches providing ideas for the “Connecting Bridge” between the shopping plaza.

• A bridge with the theme of an art gallery, entertaining the users while taking them from one plaza to the next.

• Semi-transparent space with geometric patterns of ceiling and windows, creating a modern space in transformation.

PALACE GARDENLocated in Miami, Florida, The Palace Gardens is most popular with Florida Keys & South Miami families, who need Assisted Living care for their loved ones. The group provides homes, assisted senior living apartments and retired communities.

This project is to provide design, specification, and detail drawings of custom made furniture set for Palace Garden’s elderly clients.

Individual tasks: Produce detail drawings, including plans, elevations and sections of custom made furniture set, bathroom furniture set and bedroom furniture set. Cooperate with manufacture in Malaysia, and answer any production related questions.

AAHOA SHOW BOOTHAAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owner Assoication) Convention & Trade Show offers one-stop shopping for every hotelier to the educational programs and esteemed guest speakers. It provides an active forum in which Asian American Hotel Owners, through an exchange of ideas with a unified voice, can communicate, and interact. Every year Royal Touch Inc. participates in AAHOA and display all of its products in a 20’ x 20’ show booth.

Individual tasks: Provide creative ideas for the 20’ x 20’ booth. To show all Royal Touch products in the show booth and produce final drawings and 3D renderings. Contact suppliers to build up the booth in place.
