In this Prototype Album Cover I tried to keep to the DO’S of Production Design work.

I used one clear font as I can only stick to two clear fonts maximum. I used two colours as I can only stick to three colours as a maximum. The Photo isn’t clear enough, its not in focus. I need to make sure that I

use clear photos that are in focus in my Digipak for Addi+ion. The rule of thirds is used as the photo image is placed in the very middle of

the front cover so that the photo is all visible. I included the Barcode, Title of the album, artist name, copyright

information and record company Logo – I didn’t include the Date, Website and artist website.

All the images used in the Ancillary Products must suit the genre and the style of the artist – No unnecessary effects used.

Do not stretch images to fit the Digipak size. When placing text on the Digipak and

Magazine Advertisement, do not put any across the face of the artist.

Use fonts that suit the style of genre of the artist – not just because you favour them.

Photos do not need to be on every panel, only use according to the style of the genre.
