Doriss “Nanny” Donahue, 78, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Riceland Medical Center, Winnie. She was born to Ola Mae Dale and Morgan Ellis Sanders, in Taylor, Arkansas, on November 22, 1940. Doriss graduated from East Chambers High School in 1958. She then attended college and became a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Doriss graduated with her Associates Degree and became a Bookkeeper.
Survivors include her daughter, Fran Beadle and her husband, Ira, of Fannett; son, John Burden, Jr. and his wife, Tammie, of Fannett; adopted daughter, Cindy Aldridge, of Bridge City; three grandchildren, Mark Zelner; Scott Zelner; and Nicole Vidrine and her husband, Chris; three great-grandchildren, Shyann Culpepper, C.J. Vidrine, and Trey Zelner III; sisters-in-law, Margaret Biggers and Peggy Gaus; and multiple nieces, nephews, adopted by love grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
