Scissors to cut the thread ends
It helps to anchor your strands at the start and bring them all together neatly along the strands at the same time. Work all three rows in short sections, bringing them together where each spacer bar is used to make sure the rows and knot sizes work well alongside each other.
1) To start, Cut 1m of thread, make a double knot at one end and secure it inside a calotte crimp, attach this calotte crimp to one of the loops on the fastener
Make a knot in the thread. Thread on 2A, make a knot in the thread, thread on 2B, make a knot in the thread, thread on 2A, make a knot in the thread. This is sequence x.
Repeat step (1) to make the start of the next two strands. Thread on spacer bar across the three threads.
2) Onto one strand thread on 2B, make a knot, thread on 2A, make a knot, thread on 2B, make a knot. This is sequence z.
Repeat step (2) for the other two strands, thread on a spacer bar across the three threads.
Repeat sequence x for all three strands. Thread on the last spacer bar.
Repeat sequence z for all three strands. Make a knot at the end of each strand.
Finish o� your thread neatly using calotte crimps and attach to the fastener.
