PHYSICAL SETTING

The story is set in Budapest in Hungary. The main character,John Taylor, and his wife, Andrea, live in a flat in theThirteenthDistrict. His office is located at Vaci utca.

Number 7 Felka utca- The incident of him stumbling upon hisdoppelgnger happened in front ofnumber 7 Felka utca. The

bar is owned by Zsolt. Bar at Gergely utca- where he sees the doppelgnger

disappears. The street was flanked by nineteenth and earlytwentieth century flats that were run down and were ridden

with bullet holes from World War II or perhaps the 1956revolution.
