Please join us for a 2-session workshop onThursday, March 7 and Thursday, March14. This workshop will provide an in-depthlook at dysfunctions within teams and howto best overcome those challenges. "5Dysfunctions of a Team" is a book that hasbeen a practical tool in getting teamsaligned, breaking down the "silos" withincompanies/organizations and getting theteams within your organization to move inthe same direction.

AmbassadorAmbassadorof the Monthof the Month

Mitzy Little is Marketing Director for UnitedWay of Fort Smith Area. She isresponsible for marketing United Way tothe community through various mediumsand promoting year round awareness ofUnited Way and its Community PartnerAgencies. She began her career in publicservice in 1996 and came to United Wayin 2010 after her retirement from theSebastian County Sheriff’s Department.For the majority of her career at theSheriff’s Department she worked incommunications where she coordinatedthe 911 Emergency Services DispatchCenter, and at the time of her retirementwas in Administration serving as theAdministrative Assistant to the Sheriff. Shewas awarded a Certificate of

Congressional Recognition in 2006 for herwork in emergency servicecommunications during Hurricane Katrina.She has a heart for public service andupon retiring wanted to continue her workin that field. She saw United Way as theorganization where she felt she couldcontinue to make a direct impact withhelping people in need.Mitzy enjoys serving and being involved inthe community and is an ambassador forthe Fort Smith Regional Chamber ofCommerce. She was named Ambassadorof the Year in 2017. She resides inMansfield with her husband Charlie. Theyhave two children, Ashley and Chris andthree grandchildren, Jacob, Kristen andLeena.

The Chamber is pleased to partner with VIP2 University in offeringthis degree of quality leadership training to our ChamberMembers. Given that this will be a very in-depth course with personalattention given to each industry represented, this 2-day session will belimited to 12 people.

VIP2 University is a two-day leadership training suitable forexecutives, front-line leaders and emerging leaders. The scope of thesession is looking at leadership, front-line people and your workenvironment through a different lens with a focus on the connectionsbetween work environment, leadership and bottom-line results.
