the importance of blood donation. You are a valuable part of our team

and play an imperative role in our mission to save lives. Our community

relies on local blood donations; your donation will impact lives right here

in our community.

DonorView is your tool to creating an easier way to schedule your blood

donation, keep track of your donor history, stay up to date with your

wellness information and much more!

OVERVIEW:

• Schedule appointments for future blood donations • Update your account to ensure you receive reminder emails for appointments, eligibility, when your blood has shipped to help a patient in need, and more! • Easily monitor your wellness reports post-donation (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, hemoglobin, and cholesterol) • Pull historical donation history • Access your donor ID card at any time GETTING STARTEDVisit https://donorview.vablood.org All donors will need to create a new donor account if this is your first time logging into DonorView.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENTUtilize this function to schedule an upcoming appointment or multiple appointments.

Select a donor center from the menu by scrolling to your prefered location. Highlight the location, and click “Select”. (See example to right for reference.)

To find a mobile drive near you, or to search by group code, go to the respective search fields and enter by location or code. Click “Select” once you have entered the information.

Once selected, highlight the drive that you would like to schedule an appointment. Click “Select” and choose an available time slot. Click “Confirm” and finalize your appointment. If you have included your email address in your account information, you will receive a confirmation email and reminder email about your blood donation appointment.

VIEW PENDING APPOINTMENTSView upcoming appointments that you have scheduled. If there is a conflict, you can easily reschedule.

WELLNESSStay up-to-date with your wellness checks. DonorView allows you to keep track of your mini physical reports. New to our wellness checks are your cholesterol results.

MY PROFILE Update your profile to ensure Virginia Blood Services has the most up-to-date information in the event you need to be contacted. You can control your personal contact preferences by selecting the respective “Do not call” or “Do not use” radio buttons to the right.

By submitting your email address, you can stay informed of our upcoming campaigns and will even be notified when your blood has shipped to one of our hospitals to support patients in need.

DONATION HISTORYEasily keep track of your previous donations and donation types (i.e. whole blood, platelet, 2RBCs, plasma, etc.). Your donation history compiles your total successful donations, as well as locations of previous donations.

DONOR CARDLost your Donor ID Card? No problem! Simply click on the “Donor Card” link on the left hand side of DonorView, and open a print friendly PDF of your donor card.
