Thank you for taking part in Recycle Sterling Heights, the curbside recycling program for your community!

Through your subscription to Recycle Sterling Heights, Waste Management will provide you with curbside pickup of your recyclables on an every-other-week basis.

This guide contains important information related to the every-other-week recycling schedule and program. Please taketime to review it in detail and keep it ina convenient location for future reference.

PLEASE NOTE – this applies to recycling only. Thereis NO change to your trash or yard waste service day.

HOW TO USE YOUR RECYCLE CARTPlace your recyclables (see AcceptableMaterial Guidelines) commingled in the cart. Place the cart at the curb side (with thehandle and wheels positioned away from the street)by 7 AM on your scheduled collection dates.

RECYCLING SCHEDULE Use the map and schedule for each year to determine your recycle week as follows:

First determine if your residence is located in the green or yellow section of the map. The color of the map where your residence is located corresponds to the color of each week on the annual schedule below and indicates your recycle week for each month and year. Place your recycle cart at the curb on the same day as your trash every other week according to the schedule. Waste Management will provide you with a new recycle schedule for dates beyond 2018.
