Notes:
Changes to the Environment:
-Place puppets in the dramatic play area along with any sports related props you may have.
Children can create their own props relating to the week's theme as well.
-You will need a variety of sports balls and equipment for several activities this week at the
math and sensory class areas. To make this easier on the teacher, send information home
asking for parents to bring in a variety of unique and interesting balls and sports equipment.
Ask them to label their items so that you can return them. In the same parent
communication, you can also ask for donations of old sports and outdoor magazines to be
used this week.
Special Events:
-Sports and Exercise Field Day (see the activity titled the same) culminates the week. This
can be a small class activity, or you can make it into a larger parent or school wide
participation event.
