At Derby Unitex we have a large selection of combat trousers, jackets and one-piece coveralls available in a selection of fabrics, which are all available to Dog Handlers and Private Security companies and individuals, as well as the Police Service.

Our selection includes lined and unlined garments, in Nylon Cotton and Poly-Cotton (various shades), as well as Rip-stop gabardine. All lined garments are fully waterproof, with PU backed knitted skin line and taped seams.

All garments are available in a large variety of styles – each with different pockets and features, including reflective tape, radio dock tags and badging – which can be made to your requirements.

CTR – COMBAT TROUSERS

Our standard combat trouser is the CTR03. This trouser has a sewn-in seam down the centre front, zipped and elasticated ankles and side of thigh sip fastened half bellows pockets. The trouser is available in standard fit (with a rear pocket in the back yoke) and ladies fit, with more room in the hip. The same style of trouser is also available fully waterproof lined, with taped seams (CTR08).

We have varying styles of trouser available with the following features:

o straight leg, o wider stud fastened belt loops, o full bellows/storm pockets, o ankle pockets, o paramedic style window pockets o scissor/pen pockets, o reflective tape, o crutch reinforcement.

The majority of our combat trousers are manufactured in black Nylon cotton. This fabric is woven with the nylon on the outer surface and the cotton on the inside, with the cotton next to the skin it is a very comfortable fabric. It also has a fluorocarbon coating which gives the fabric a certain amount of water repellence. It also allows dog hairs to be easily brushed off and is easy to care for – with standard home laundering.

The trousers are also available in Polycotton – which has a matt appearance, or a rip stop gabardine, which is a very tough and comfortable fabric (with a visible grid pattern).

CJK - COMBAT JACKETS

We supply a range of combat jackets, in various fabrics, both waterproof lined and not.

Our most popular is the CJK01. This Jacket is normally sold in Nylon cotton and is unlined. It has two stud fastened breast pockets with radio loops above and two lower slanted welt pockets. This design features the standard Prussian collar and hook and loop adjustable cuffs.

Variations of this jacket include the following:

• CJK10 – waterproof lined with a detachable hood. • CJK14 – Pictured below, this jacket has two half bellows zipped sleeve pockets with Velcro for

badge attachment. It also has oval wadded elbow patches and a Mandarin collar. • CJK18 – Same design as the CJK01, minus the badge and lower pockets. It has two additional

Dock tags for radios etc. above the breast pockets. A badge can be stitched onto the breast pocket. • CJK28 – Unlined with mandarin collar, epaulette loops and pen pocket to left sleeve. Oval wadded

elbow patches, knitted cuffs and two zipped breast pockets.

FAS - FIREARMS / WATERPROOF SUITS

Our Firearms suits are fully waterproof lined with taped seams. They have stud fastened outer storm flaps and zip detachable lined hoods.

They have elastication in the waist channel to guarantee a good fit and 5 studded belt loops to make it easier to detach equipment belts.

The FAS01 has double layers in the lower leg and elbow, for added durability and two square bellows thigh pockets which are zip fastened. It also has a pen pocket on the left sleeve and a Velcro patch pocket to the upper right sleeve.

Variations on this suit include:

• FAS38 – this suit has stirrups on ankles and a draw cord to adjust the hood. It also has additional reflective tape to the sleeves and lower leg. • FAS11 – No leg pockets but it has a radio pocket and loop to the left breast and a studded patch pocket to the right. • FAS14 – No leg pockets but it has a sewn in seam down the centre front of the leg. Studded patch pocket to either breast.

FAS suits are best in Nylon Cotton, which has a certain level of water repellency to it, this is then made fully waterproof with the taped seams and lining. They are also available in Polycotton, including disruptive pattern.

SQS – SQUAD SUITS

Below is an image of the SQS36. It has the same bottom half as the SQS01 pictured above, but it has an additional pen pocket to the upper left sleeve and a Velcro fastened patch pocket to the right. It also has a detachable hood.

Squad suits are available in both a standard fit as well as a ladies fit. As with all our styles, there is an extensive size roll, however, if your measurements normally give you problems in standard clothing, we can also make garments to your specific measurements. BADGE

BADGE

Our basic Squad suit is the SQS01 with covered front zip, Prussian collar and double layers in the lower leg and elbow. There are two thigh pockets with zipped accesses and Velcro fastened patch pocket to the left breast and one to the rear.

As standard with our suits it has zipped elasticated ankles to fit and close over standard issue boots. There are Velcro fastened side accesses – to allow access in to clothes underneath.

SQS options include:

• SQS18 – pen pocket to left arm, additional ankle pocket and oval wadded knee / elbow patches.

• SQS30 – no pockets and right-hand side access only.

• SQS44 – one breast and one back patch pocket. Straight legs with no elastication or zip.

• SQS127 – with epaulette loops instead of one- piece epaulettes.
