Background

I am a mechanical design engineer and environmental modeller with over nine years experience delivering multi-million pound building projects in a variety of geographic locations through all stages of design. I have experience of surveying, refurbishments and new building design within the following sectors: commercial, healthcare, education, leisure and industrial.

Project tasks have included but are not limited to: conceptual building physics assessments, energy strategies, feasibility studies, environmental modelling, LZC studies, condition surveys, stage A to construction detail specifications and drawings.

In addition to my design experience, I was the Project Manager of two multi-million pound healthcare centres in Great Yarmouth and Reydon. I was tasked with ensuring deliverables are met on budget and compliant with quality assurance and health and safety procedures.

I am an enthusiastic and driven person. I have a passion for building services and thoroughly enjoy the daily challenges. I am an efficient worker and I do not shy away from the extra effort required to meet tight deadlines.

The next goal in my career is to achieve CIBSE Chartership. I believe I have the expertise, experience and knowledge required. I have completed my Technical Report which was approved by CIBSE and I have my final presentation and interview in April to gain Chartered Engineer status.
