ASSOCIATION AFFAIRS MEMORIAL PHILIP A. LAMBERT Philip A. Lambert, 36, died at 1: 17 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 1990, Rockford Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Rockford, illinois after collapsing while jogging. Lambert was born October 1,1953, in Kankakee, illinois, the son of Clement P. and Vema Gail Jones Lam- bert. He lived 10 years in Rockford. Lambert was employed by Dean Foods for 11 years in the Research Department as a spe- cialist in cultured food product development. He graduated from the University of illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a Master's degree. Lambert was a member of International Food Technologists and American Dairy Science As- sociation. Lambert was a member of the Shiloh Evan- gelical Free Church, Rockford, illinois where he also was a deacon. He had worked 9 years with junior and senior high youth groups at the church. Lambert has also been a Cub Scout Webelos leader. In addition, he was the current president of the Creekside Home Owners' As- sociation. Survivors include his wife, Carol; two chil- dren, Stephen and Amy, at home; one brother, Julian Lambert, Schaumburg; two aunts and one uncle; two nieces and two nephews; mother-in-law, Winnifred Newcomb, rural Galesburg; and brother-in-law, Charles New- comb, Knoxville. Lambert was predeceased by his parents. A memorial has been established for a trust fund for his children through Shiloh Evangeli- cal Free Church. 1990 1 Dairy Sci 73:1964 1964
