On April 21, the Western NC Association of Fire Fighters will elect a Western Director to the North Carolina State Firemen's Association (NCSFA).

This meeting will be hosted by the Shelby Fire‐Rescue Department. The meeting will be held at the Shelby City Park (Recreation Center); 850 W. Sumter Street. The meeting starts at 18:30.

Each member department represented, which is a voting member organization of the Western North Carolina Association of Firefighters, is entitled to one vote.

Protect the tuition exemption for fire / rescue training through the NC Dept. of Community College ‐

Lobby for a fire service friendly solutions to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) ‐
