• Take your ID document and rental agreement
• Ask for Estonian ID code• Register your place of stay
EU students: Step 2- Estonian ID-card• Apply within one month• Take these documents:
Application form (can be filled in Citizenship and Migration Bureau);
Identification document; Document showing you have paid the state
fee (24.28 EUR); Color photo 4x5 cm.
• Go to the Citizenship and Migration Bureau office

NON-EU students: Step 1- Temporary Residence Permit• A document allowing studies in Estonia• Issued for one year• Has to be extended yearly• Can be applied:

After arrival to Estonia

• Pickup from Estonia: Contact your case agent in Migration Bureau; Submit health insurance; Check that all documents are in order/submit
missing documents; And wait for the decision!

TRP: applying in Estonia• application form; • annex 2 to the application form; • annex 3 to the application form; • annex 4 to the application form – get it from ISC• Curriculum Vitae;• applicant’s written justification as to why he/she wishes to settle to
study in Estonia; • a document which certifies the legal income; • a language skills certificate – get it from ISC• an identity document;• 1 colour photo with measures 40x50 mm; • a document certifying the payment of the state fee; • an insurance contract;
Take the documents to: Citizenship and Migration Bureau office

• Extended once a year• Apply at least 2 months before exp. date• ISC will issue extension document• Extend health insurance• Go to the Citizenship and Migration Bureau office
