Description Pupils were given an initial lesson in which they were taught about learning and learning styles. During this they completed questionnaires to establish their intelligence type (Gardner’s) and VAKIn a second lesson, this information was used to determine how pupils learned the academic material

Carnoustie High is an six year comprehensive school within Angus regional council. Dr Anne Wallace is a biology teacher within the school and Sandra Paul is a teacher within the SFL department.

Pupils come from a mixture of areas including the town of Carnoustie and outlying farming areas.
