ABSTRACTThe consumer education for adults guide, part of a
consumer and homemaking education unit, was developed in a curriculumworkshop at Winthrop College in June 1972. It was written inreference to a norm grouping. The concepts presented are: family lifecycle, life style, the consumer in the economy, spending plan,consumer credit, financing housing, transportation, health insurance,life insurance, social security, savings and investments, taxes,wills, financial records, consumer's rights and responsibilities, andfinancial crisis. Under each concept, three columns list behavioralobjectives, learning and evaluation experiences, and teachingresources. (AG)
