Some material from theforth-coming series ofDoctor Who has made itsway online in what BBCWorldwide has called"extremely serious".

Rough cut, black and whiteand heavily watermarkedversions of "Deep Breath",Capaldi's first feature-lengthepisode were found to haveleaked online as well asScripts for the first fiveepisodes.

It is understood that thesehas been accidentaly placedon a BBC server in Miamiwhich was public availablerather than private. Thescripts and footage had beenthere in order for it to besent to a translationcompany to be dubbed forinternational releases.

BBC Worldwide hasapologised to the fans and tothe show's creative teamwhile adding, "While thereis still a risk that this leak

will result in more of thiscontent emerging, so far theimpact has been contained."

"We'd like to thank theamazing Doctor Who"continued the BBBcstatement "fans who arecontinuing to keep fan sitesand social media spoiler-freebut would remind thosedownloading and sharingthis material that it's illegalto do so."

DWV is similarly notposting any spoliers - otherthan that which has appearedin the trailer which isreviewed elsewhere in thisissue.

Showrunner Steven Moffatwas dismayed at the leak.He told London Film andComic Con that he thankedthe fans for not spoling it forfellow fans. He likened theserver incident to spottingsomeone's house windowbeing open. He said that thisdid not mean you would

have to steal things justbecause you could. "It'sdamaging to the show youlove, so if you really lovethe show, why would youdamage it", Moffat said.

This is far from the first leakof Doctor Who material inrecent years. Scripts for NeilGaiman's cybermen episodewas found in a taxi, and USfans who had preordered theSeries 7 DVD wereaccidentaly sent it one weekbefore the episodes had aired- meaning they knew thedramatic conclusion to "TheName of the Doctor". StevenMoffat pleaded then not tospoil the ending, and fansobliged. Back in 2005,footage from the first seriesleaked online early.

So if you find any of thisfootage, don't watch as you'llonly spoil it for yourself anddon't spoil it for anyone else. Please, let's just wait untilAugust 23rd.

NEW 12TH DOCTOR BOOKS

FIVE(ISH) DOCTORS:THE SEQUEL?

It seems like the Five(ish)Doctors is getting a sequel. Both Paul McGann andColin Baker have beenspeaking about the projectwhich is understood to be inthe very early stages.

Colin told'FlixandtheCity.com', "All Iknow is, when I last spoke toPeter, the reaction to theFive(ish) Doctors was sopositive, that we discussedwhether it was a good idea todo another one, and weagreed we didn't want to doanother one that was a paleimitation.. . Until we come upwith a really good idea, andthere's a couple ofpossibilities floating about, there's nothings set instone.".

Paul meanwhile said, hewishes to be in it to a greaterextent that last year: "I'd like

to be in it, because in theFive(ish) Doctors last year, Iwas only available for justone afternoon. I was awayworking in Ireland, so whenI saw it I was a bit miffed

that I wasn't in it more."

Although Colin thinks thatthe format would have to beslightly different to last year:""If there was a reboot of thereboot, I don't think goingdown that path would be agood idea. If there is to be areboot, I would favourhaving it the three of usdoing something. The one

that we did at theanniversary was a specialone related to the 50th.Clearly one about the 51 stisn't going to be thatinteresting. Arbitarily boltingpeople onto it (as in thecameo-laden Five(ish)Doctors) at this stage, isn'treally a good idea."

Peter Davison would be atthe helm again, and Paul ispraiseworthy: "I think he didit really, really well last time. He'd done similar thingsbefore (for conventions), sohe's obviously getting betterat it."

Meanwhile the EighthDoctor's possible return toour screens is supported bythe man himself, "I've signedthe petition too", saidMcGann of the onlinepetition to give Eight his fairshare of screen time.
