SummaryThe integration notes are based on below voice network architecture and it attempts to detail the configuration requirements on each of the component involved.
The SfB server is connected to Sonus SBC 2000 using SIP TCP on port 5066, please note that it is also possible to set up a TLS connection if required.
The Sonus SBC 2000 is connected to Avaya CM using E1 Euro ISDN.
The Sonus SBC 2000 acts as a gateway between Avaya (TDM) and Skype for Business (SIP), it also performs the necessary Called Number & Calling Number transformation for the phone users.

SFB sends CLID with country code (+6561234050), Avaya side or PSTN may expect 8 digit phone number. Calling number transformation can be used to achieve this requirement.
Match SFB
Tel URI for SFB users are configured in E164 format, hence the calls to SFB needs to be prefixed with country code.
Signalling GroupsWhile creating the SG, use the default call routing tables.
Once the required call routing tables are created, edit the signalling group and associate them with respective call routing table.
To/From SFBCreate a SIP signalling group called “To/From SFB”.
To/From AvayaCreate a ISDN signalling group called “To/From Avaya”.
Verify Signalling Group Service Status
Call Routing TableCreate call routing tables,
- From Avaya- From SFB
From AvayaCreate Call Routing Entry “To SFB” under the call routing table “From Avaya”.
From SFBCreate Call Routing Entry “To Avaya” under the call routing table “From SFB”.
